This bold Syrah was skillfully aged entirely in a blend of new and 2 year old French Oak from a variety of coopers. This wine carries with it a lot of dark fruit, blackberry, plums and hints of vanilla. The tannins are well rounded and contribute a nice mouthfeel with a slight hint of toasty oak showcasing the fruit forward nature of this Syrah. Delicious to enjoy now and certainly cellar worthy, if you are able to hold back after you enjoy this earth moving wine. |
